01 · The project

Project Overview

Fruitopia brings product discovery, cart management and customer account flows into an Ionic and Angular application. Capacitor connects the web application to Android native capabilities.

A FastAPI backend owns authenticated commerce and PostgreSQL data. The development implementation includes Firebase authentication, Razorpay test checkout, order management and notification workflows.

Production deployment, live payments and store publication are separate next steps. The preview shown here is an illustrative product concept.

Engineering Decisions

  • Server-owned commercePrices, totals and payment verification belong to the backend.
  • Clear account boundariesCustomer addresses and orders remain scoped to the authenticated account.
  • Separate browser and native validationNative plugin behavior is checked separately from browser flows.
  • Explicit development limitsLive payment operations, production deployment and store publication are future delivery steps.
